| Buffalo-II Preorders |
We will begin taking pre-orders for the Buffalo II tonight at 8pm EST.
Pre-orders, as usual, will be taken through the web site, the same as if you were just buying something. If you order other parts along with your pre-ordered DAC, I will assume you want them all shipped together.
I will also be taking pre-orders for the new IVY-III.
I expect to begin shipping the Buffalos and IVYs the week of March 8th, if all goes as expected with manufacturing.
[EDIT:] I am pushing the ship date to the week of March 15th, but I still might be able to ship the previous week.

I have set up a page on our site here: Relief Raffle for Haiti
The Grand Prize for the raffle is a complete kits to build a Buffalo II-based digital preamp. This consists of a BuffaloII module, IVY-II I/V Stage, Placid power supply kits for both, an S/PDIF Mux kit, a Volumite Kit for the BuffaloII, and a pair of transformers.
We are also giving away the following runner-up prizes:
An Opus S/PDIF (or USB) Dual-Mono DAC Combination
A COD S/PDIF (or USB) Dual-Mono DAC Combination
A Ventus Headphone Amp Kit
Each raffle ticket is $10. 100% of the proceeds go to Doctors Without Borders. Each entry will increase your chances of winning.
We will hold a drawing for winners on Wednesday, January 20th at 8PM EST. Winners will be notified via email and in this thread.
We are hoping to raise as much as we can, so please help out.
Thanks! Brian and Russ |

| Buffalo II Update |
We have been testing the Buffalo II over the past week or so, and decided it was time to post a picture.
The new version ("Buffalo II") is the same size as the original Buffalo (2" x 3.3"), and the same size as our other digital modules, which allows for easy stacking. The I/V stages are separate modules.
In this picture you can see the IVY II modules mounted atop and to the sides of the Buffalo II. These are a redesign of the IVY, and has inputs the line up directly with the Buffalo's outputs. When mounted directly beside the Buffalo, the entire unit is very slightly wider than the Buffalo32s was, but the mounting screws are to the inside only.
You may also notice a small board in the center, above the Buffalo... ;) More details to follow....
