Joshua Tree is a logarithmic stepped attenuator with 128 steps. It utilizes G6K relays and can be setup for any degree of attenuation
per step and any total amount of attenuation. By default we use .5db steps which give a -63.5db to 0db range. It is controlled
via a simple micro controller circuit and a potentiometer which is not in the signal path which allows you to mount the pot up
front in a case, and the attenuator in the rear of the case for very short signal paths. It is capable of single ended or balanced
operation. You would use it anyplace you would use a rotary stepped attenuator.
