The idea is to simplify. I specified everything that should be in the chain - lets not add anything else too fast - one thing at a time. :) Edited by user Friday, February 26, 2016 2:06:04 PM(UTC)

So now all you need to do is set your sidecar to switch by simply wiring a switch instead of the jumper between VD and B on the sidecar. |

No Sidecar switch connected & still connected the jumper wire from VD to B on the Sidecar, no IC controller. |

You guess the problem is the S/PDIF-4 board? What about the DIP swtiches? Edited by user Friday, February 26, 2016 2:06:29 PM(UTC)

You should not need to wire anything at all to EXT-IO except 2 bit selector to choose SPDIF channels. |

I am not going to speculate the cause yet.
You can add back in the controller (make sure its the latest version) and set all switches to on.

Ok I would omit the SPDIF 4 and the isolator until you have everything else up and running tested (actually listened to). Edited by user Friday, February 26, 2016 2:22:48 PM(UTC)
