Russ I forgot to power the DIYINHK I2S isolatorBrick wall , the isolator is drawing 6mA I assume can connect to BIII EXT I/O.

The idea is to simplify. I specified everything that should be in the chain - lets not add anything else too fast - one thing at a time. :)

No DC offset between +- DAC output playing DSD or PCM.

So now all you need to do is set your sidecar to switch by simply wiring a switch instead of the jumper between VD and B on the sidecar.

No Sidecar switch connected & still connected the jumper wire from VD to B on the Sidecar, no IC controller.

You guess the problem is the S/PDIF-4 board?

What about the DIP swtiches?

You should not need to wire anything at all to EXT-IO except 2 bit selector to choose SPDIF channels.

I am not going to speculate the cause yet.

You can add back in the controller (make sure its the latest version) and set all switches to on.

I don't have connected because I don't use the 2 bit selector to choose SPDIF channels.

Could I wire the I2S isolator?

The Sidecar wire is OK, right?

Have I to connect the Sidecar to S/PDIF_4?

Ok I would omit the SPDIF 4 and the isolator until you have everything else up and running tested (actually listened to).
