Hi folks,

not quite sure I understand how to change settings. It looks like the switches have a thin cover I need to take off. Is that so? (just afraid to ruin smth)

The Kapton tape on the switches is there to protect them during the reflow soldering process.

You can safely remove it by peeling it off.

I have another question. In the B3 manual it says "connect PB4 to the 3.3V pin on the ADC connector " if you dont use volume control. It means to shorten it?

Yes. The Buffalo kit has a small bag with a pot, 3-pin header, connector, wire, and a shunt jumper.

The idea is to install the header on the board, then either use the shunt jumper to fix the volume, or wire the pot to the connector and plug it in.
