Hi Russ,

thanks for the excellent product. I wish to use an LC AUDIO XO3 external clock and have the following questions:

a) Does the clock signal level have to be 3.3 or 5 volts?
b) If I use the 'disable' jumper on the metronome, do I conect the clock signal+GND to the I2S SCK+GND input or do I need to desolder the CRYSTEK Oscilator and use the appropriate pins on the PCB?

Cheers,
Abraham Sidiropoulos

I have not tried this myself. But from reading the datasheets here is my answer.

a) 3.3V

b) You should be able to leave the Crystek clock in place. Just connect the external clock signal to SCK and the clock GND to GND.

Cheers!
Russ
