hello every one !

I would like to buy a Toslink module to replace one of the 3 SPDIF coax input on my DAC. The conversion from SPDIF to i2S is ensured by a CS8416.

I have attached the schematic:

DAC Kaneda 220

Should I remove the 75 Ohm resistor actually in parralel on the input?
What component should be part of the module L, C, R ?

Sorry for the question, but I am not a qualified electronic engineer... d'oh!

Regards,

Dominique T

I think you can leave it as is - just set up the Toslink module to output consumer level (install the correct Rs).
