Hi folks.

As far as I read the Buffalo DAC runs 24bit I2S by default. How can I change this to 16bit?

Background: I would like to use the I2S out of my PCM2707 USB interface as input?

THX

When setup for 24bit I2S it should already accept 16bit I2S (the last 8 bits will simply be zeros). :) It should work just fine.

Cheers!

It works. Quite well actually. Still a bit edgy (after running 3h).

I am using now my old PCM2707 USB DAC (DDDAC) interface giving me 64FS.

I am wondering if to decouple the I2S pins. You guys mentioned to do it for SPDIF!
