Hi,

This has probably already been answered somewhere in the forum, but I couldn't find it. I was wondering if there is any way to retrieve sampling frequency information and whether the current input is PCM or DSD from the BIII module.

Yes there is, through the I2C interface.

If you have a look at the HifiDuino site there is info there on one way of going about it, it's not a trivial undertaking though. http://hifiduino.wordpress.com/?s=sample+rate
