I tried to hookup the toslink today. I took the power from LCDPS a unused part. I put the resistors into the Toslink and left the Built-in Mux: the S/PDIF-4 Input Board setup to consumer level. When I try to get sound out of it both mute and lock LED's light, but no sound.

Any ideas what might be wrong?

Additionally, now my main digital input is being a bit flaky. I was going to put that in the original post but then it started working. Now it is back to not locking in.

Latest update is I have tried a different device for the toslink and it is working. So I am not sure why it is choosing not to for the TV. Any ideas what the promblem might be there?

And the main digital is still not working, with the flickering lock led. Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks

I've read somewhere in the forum the toslink input should be on position 1, and if you are using consumer level, resistors on the S/PDIF-4 Input Board sould be the same as your main Spdif input. Stacking sidecar directly on Buffalo and S/PDIF-4, no cables, solved alot of problems for me, i have a very dirty ac mains in my house i guess.

Update, I unhooked the wires from main digital to Mux: the S/PDIF-4 Input Board and reconnected them and all is fine in that area. Still not able to get TV hookup working.
