Are the diode bridges in the LCDPS fast recovery types?

Assuming that are not, I would like to replace them with Schottky or Hexfred bridges.

Do you have any recommendations on exact parts to use?

Thanks!

Bill

Nope, these are what we include: http://www.vishay.com/docs/88532/3n253.pdf (100V 2A) which work very very well.

I have no recommendation for Schottky or Hexfred replacement. I think it would have to be a point-to-point or sub-board hack.

I did the mod with a little board. Used the leads of the rectifiers to solder the bridge and to the main LCDPS board. Moved one of the bleed resistors to the bottom of the board. You can see some pics in my gallery post
