I have mounted, the power supply to Buffalo II.
no load, the power supply for buffalo, supply voltage +5.5 V. when connecting the Buffalo II powering +1.75, and not turn the LED on Buffalo II, even when I turn potentiometer power supply, not increase the tension ... Why did this happen?

I have mounted, the power supply for IVY III.
no load, the power supply of IVY III powering +14.98 and -14.98. when connecting the IVY III powering +10.90 and -1.41, even when I turn potentiometer power supply, not increase the tension ... Why did this happen?

IVY III have something wrong, because I have mounted, but in Buffalo II, I have not mounted anything, be assembled and tested ...

I ask for help, afraid I sweat, I can not hear.
Thanks to all loredana

Sounds like a short. Post pictures if you can. Also make sure the power supplies are adjusted correctly for current, not just voltage.

you think of a short circuit?
but I, in Buffalo II, does not settle anything, are already completed and tested, why not work?
or, the problem is the two power supply?

A picture of the mounted AVCC would be good. Mainly pictures of the power supplies though, because as you say, the Buffalo was tested.

Hello Brian
you had the time to look at my photos?
what suggestions you have to solve the problem?
is very strange that no work, neither power supply?
I may have done something wrong in the power supply ..
you think that buying another placid power supply for IVY III is a good idea?
I hope for your help, I would listen to the new DAC, sleeping in silence ..!
greetings

I did not have time to look yet, but I did upload the pictures. It looks like you are using the wrong inputs for the IVY, but I don't think that is why you are getting no sound.

I also don't see GND connected from SPDIF. Nor can I see if the SPDIF switch is on.

Hello everyone, and thanks for help.

I have not yet connected SPIDF, because the LEDs of Buffalo II, do not light, and voltage drop in +1,75, connect the power supply when the Buffalo II.
IVY III even work with power supply ....
I can not understand what does not work ..
switch which, I must move on, to use SPDIF?
thanks and greetings Loredana

You can check the power supply by connecting a resistor at the output and then measure the voltage with the resistor in place. For the 5.5v Placid, connect a 20 ohm resistor to give you ~300mA current which is the power consumption of Buffalo II. Best to put a bunch a resistors together if you don't have a power resistor because it (the resistor) will get very hot. For example you can put 5 100 ohm resistor in parallel and that will give you you 20 ohm
