I now use an USB to I2s converter like the WaveIO to convert the Raspberry Pi USB output. In this article it was said to steer clear of the Pi’s I2s. I was wondering if the tinker board would provide a good solution for music streaming. Thx!

I have some of these built, but have not had time to test. I have sent a few out for users to test, but never heard back.. I will try to track down some answers :).

Although I decided to invest in an Allo USBridge a few months ago. I should have been more patient. This hat will spare a conversion to USB and back to I2S. Is there any data or description available for the Cronus stacks?
