I'm supplying 5.25VDC to the Vd pin of the output header of my Cronus, and I see approximately 5V master clock signal output (very nicely shaped).

My question: is the 5V master clock signal normal (I sort of expected that the output buffers will be fed from a local 3.3V regulator, and expected a 3V signal) or the regulator feeding the output buffers is not doing its job and my board is going to die at any moment now?

Edit: A strange thing has happened: I didn't change anything, but at some point it went to the expected 3.2V (and the rise time went from 3 ns to about 5 ns)... The waveform is about the same. Strange, but I can live with that.

~3.2V is normal - 5V would never be normal - it would mean that the VREG was not regulating or shorted etc..
