Ok I'm probably doing something very silly. Trying to connect a Waveio usb board to the opus. I have 4 u-fl cables connected to the non isolated I2s connectors on the WaveIO going to the I2s terminals on the opus. Only the cores are connected. The screens aren't. There is no connection to the digital ground. And no sound. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

You need to connect the digital ground, so the I2S lines have a voltage reference.
