Hi there.
I am feeding the Buffalo I2S from a 2707.
After a while - about 15-20 minutes it is making pretty scratchy noises. And continues doing it.
I feed the DAC with 6V batteries. The connection to the PCM are not even 2 inch
and shielded.
Do you guys have any ideas?

Are you monitoring battery voltage? VD draws a lot of current, and I could see if killing a battery fairly quickly.
