So, we currently ship only the LM3886TF (insulated) package with our amps because it is easier to use (less apt to shorting, etc). We have had some requests for the T package (non-insulated). We are thinking about either... a) switching to the T package and supplying a Bergquist K-10 thermal pad and shoulder washer, or b) giving the option or T or TF Why not just offer the choice? Well, we could do the switch without affecting prices. If we offer the choice, it makes building kits more work, and it means more inventory, so we would likely have to bump up the kit prices a couple bucks to compensate. What do you think?
