Hey All,

I would like to use the JT with a gain stage that uses LM4562 opamps from National Semi. The gain stage I'm using is uses the P88 board from Rod Elliott.

What would be the best way to implement the JT with this board? Would it be best to use it interstage, or before the gain block entirely? Will the varying input impedance present a problem? I was thinking of using it interstage. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

The JT is pretty flexible in where you put it. In the circuit you are using, I would put it inter-stage, so you retain the desired input and output impedance characteristics of the circuit.

That said, you can easily try it in all three spots to see which you prefer.

Hey Brian,

Thanks for the advice. I thought interstage would be a good way to go. I was wondering, why did you choose the particular relay that you did for the JT and the Darwin?

Cheers, Jon
