I made before a Tubes4hifi SP 14 tube line pre and a Boozhound Le Pacific Phono pre.
Till now I was using phono pre with a battery pack. Sometime ago I saw in TNT forum a comparison between different type powering alternatives including 2 types of battery packs and realised that battery packs are not that silent as expected.

So decided to put together both tube pre and boozhound in one chassis and power phono pre with shunt regulator (after my experience with bipolar HD, very good indeed).

so in documentations manual and Leos guide I saw generally 15v was mentioned as in digital world 15v is used commonly.

What about in boozhound case...
+18v-0
max current 50mA

does it work? if not, need to change some values with some components ? if yes :) which components and possibly with which values?

The Placid will work fine at 18VDC. I recommend a 15VAC-18VAC transformer. With 15VAC it will output 20VDC without issues.
