Hello Brian / Russ,

I'm on the way to build a DAC consisting of a Buffalo-IIIse with Ivy-III, a Cronus/Hermes/Amanero Combo, Otto II, Teleporter and Toslink Module.
For powering these modules I wonder if I can feed them (without Ivy) with a single Placid HD Power Supply ? Or better using 2 Placids ?
To set the correct CCS I should know better the power requirement of the modules used:
Buffalo-IIIse 440 mA, Teleporter 150 mA, Otto II 10 mA. Correct ?
For Cronus (150 mA ?), Hermes Amanero, Amanero USB and Toslink Module I can't find out their current demand. Can you help me ?

Thomas

One Placid should work just fine. :)

Two would give you slightly better regulation - but one is really all that is required.

If you do use two then use one for the B3SE and one for everything else.

I would start with just one.

Cheers!
