Is it possible to change parts on a trident V1 so that it will output aprox 4V?

I want to lower the voltage to the B3 4ch sp-dif input card by taking the VD from the Sidecar (wich still would run off B3`s VD and operate as usual) and feed the trident "Vin" off the B3 / Sidecar`s VD (5.25V) and output 4V through to the 4ch sp-dif board.

Is this possible, and if so can you point me to which parts on the trident I need to change and to what values?

Or is Vin 5.25V not enough for aprox 4V out?
