Finally setting up my Legato v2 (with TP0604 replacements) + BuffII + etc.

LCBPS set to +/- 14.0V.

The closest documentation I could find is the user manual v1.0.2 from the TP Documents section.

Setup is described as:

Prior to connecting the Legato to the DAC:
· Power it up
· Adjust VR1 and VR2 until the + and – inputs measure approximately 0VDC (do not worry if it is
not exactly 0V, it is not critical).
· Power down
· Connect to DAC

Questions:

(1) Does this setup still apply to the v2 board?
(2) For the 0VDC adjustment, probes go on the (+) or (-) and GND input header pins?

I could get down to 20mV DC, but only by turning VR1 or VR2 fully counter clockwise. Sound normal?

Thanks: 25 times
Was thanked: 89 time(s) in 83 post(s)
from either input to GND. :)

And 20mv is perfectly fine.

Thanks for the confirmation. Seems the v2 boards had only a brief run, so not much info out there, and I'm the cautious type.

Power-on testing has gone well, which is a relief.

Need to study the guides a bit more, but should my BuffII Lock led blink on every 15sec or so with no sources connected?

Update: LEDs work fine. Connected a source and some test headphones to the SE outputs and everything sounds/works great with a quick listen! As if I could call it a day without a functional test....
