Is an ADAT input receiver module (based around wavefront semiconductors AL1402G OPTOREC chip and toshiba TORX input) a product idea you ever thought of making ?
Do you see an interest in offering it ?

OPTOREC chip very simply offers ADAT with 8 channels of PCM 24bits 44100 or 48000 hz (96000hz is possible by reducing channelcount to 4) per single fiberoptic line (optically isolating transmitter and receiver).
RME and other brands have computer soundcards with many ADAT outputs.
This would be the missing 24bit hi-quality and ISOLATING link between computers and diy DACs.

thank you very much
