hello,
last weeck i got the package and build up the converter... its working ;-) im using the unit only in balanced configuration so i did not install another ballse per channel. everything is connected like in this drawing (exept im using two legatos): http://www.twistedpearaudio.com/docs/digital/dualmono_BII+IVYIII.pdf

her is the problem: if i compare to other dacs like the lavry or the benchmark this one got not enough gain. to integrate the buffalo in the studio i need to match follow specs:
-18 dBFS digital input level produces a 0 dBu (775 mV / 0.775 V RMS) / 0dbFS digital input level produces a 18 dBu (6.15V RMS)

is this posible? do i just have to change the R17-R20 to smaler values?

thank you and greetings!

If you like you can double the output by changing R21-R24 to 10K

i changed the mentioned resistors to 10k and got a gain boost of +5,82db now im still missing 1,46db of gain. is it okay to change R21-R24 to around 11k3 ?

or is the better way to increase R1-R4 ?

Sure you can change R21-R24, you should understand the ratio now. :) I would not change R1-R4 in your case.
