Hello, i have the Buffalo III DAC with Legato 3.1 (with buffers)
Sounds awesome.
I try to use it with my 250 Ohm headphones but maximum volume level is slightly too low for me.
It is a solution to increase it?
Thanks in advance.

I take it you connect them to the SE outputs? If you just use your headphones on those, you could try to lower resistance for the resistors R17-R20 of the Legato. This increases the gain of the SE stage.

Actually it is better to leave value of R17-R20 (because this effects the offset adjustment). Though honestly the approach of lowering them is OK.

To be certain you still get good offset adjustment, I would try doubling the feedback resistors R21-R24 instead. Say 10K.

I use 16,2k value of R21-24 finally. Now Legato is powerful with my Beyerdynamic's. Very powerful :-). Thanks a lot!
