Hi,
Now that I'm building the OPUS and have a UCD180 balanced Amp, I am thinking of modding my SCD-C333es to have balanced out. Here the schematic for the audio section after the DAC http://picasaweb.google....33es?authkey=JB_q5XycTbs This section of the schematics is for one channel

Is it possible to use a Balsie to replace the IV and/or Buffer and provide balanced outputs?

Yes, the Ballsie provides both single-ended and balanced outputs. You can use them both at the same time if you want.
