Is there more of an advantage to using two placids to power the legato than there would be using two placids to power the ivy II?

Well this an interesting question. The answer is you really don't need two PS for either circuit at all. The placid BP is capable of driving either one well. Now if you were going dual mono I would recommend one Placid BP per Legato. IVY-III could still use just one, but would also benefit from two.

LCBPS is also actually an excellent fit for Legato.
