For streaming of music through to the Opus. I have no idea what would be involved. But I think this would be something that you could sell. What do you think?

Yes, the thought has crossed our minds. No, its not exactly simple, or cheap (at least in small qty).

Still who knows. :)

Cheers!

I have had a chance to play with uPnP a lot recently. It is very nice. I had a chance to setup a network at a local Audio shop that had a Linn Akurate (6500.00) as the player. It all works too easy and sounds great!

I am trying to get it all working trough a PC, using a Nokia tablet as a uPnP remote, but, alas, there is only one uPnP software player and it doesn't do flac and is very buggy. I maybe be forced to buy a Sqeezbox player and connected it to the Opus. On the surface not a bad idea. However, at 300 bucks, I am not merely paying for a streaming player but for a built in DAC that I will never use.

The playing of music through network seems to me to be getting more popular recently.

I think it would be a good fit with the other components. If I had the expertise I would try to make one myself.

(or.. do you know of another "brand" of board that exists that I could try

Thank you
Darreb
