Hi folks,
Recently on the Pass Forum (F4 thread) "mpmarino" suggested the idea of remoting the relay boards of a Joshua Tree to the individual amps, and runing a 3 wire control wire from the Preamp (with JT controller). The idea has some appeal to me, are there any things to worry about in such an arrangement? Could the regulated side of the TXPS supply the relay bd (and the TXD in a TXO)?

How does that work then ? :)

Surely you need two controllers and some way of matching them, to do that.

The three wire control is to control the pic chip, which drives the relays.

You would have to run the 10-way ribbon to each board, if you want to separate them.

I looked a little closer at your set-up and the JT thread and you're right. Oh well. Sorry I didn't catch that before posting.
