Hi Brian/Russ,

I just finished installing Tridents on a dual mono BII setup and seem to have a problem. I have two sources that I was using with the DAC before the Tridents, a Squeezebox and a CD player. They were both working well with the BII DAC. After the Tridents installed, all LEDs come on normal, the DAC locks on to the CD player just fine and sounds very good. However it will not lock on to the Squeezebox any more. No lock LED and no sound with Squeezebox. Is there something in the Tridents that makes the DAC more picky about the sources? What could be done to fix this?

Thanx for your help.

I'm not Brian nor Russ..

Anyway - Not to my knowledge. No problem here at all, locking to the SB3 after Trident install.

Are you using a SPDIF switch or are you changing the input cable ?

There is no reason the Tridents would cause this to happen, other than you may need to adjust the regulator feeding VD to cope with the higher current.
