I have just roughly setup my DAC.

Dual-mono Buffalo II, Legato without buffer, mux receiver and Ballsie converting to single ended output.

I have tried both single BII and dual-mono setup. I found the dual-mono setup is far better than the single setup. It is more dynamic, punchy and musical.

Thank you to Russ and Brian who give us diyers much enjoyment to raise our own baby and experiment different setups to suit one's own taste. The circuitry design is excellent, and the packing and delivery are also perfect. Moreover, they are not difficult to build when following the manuals, even though the manuals are a bit too simplified.

The next step will be putting them altogether in a decent case.

Cheers
