Hi
Is +12VDC and -12VDC (bipolar from LCBPS) supply enough for the counterpoint ?
If so then what is the minimum (I do not need a big output voltage) ?
Do you confirm that a (30VA) 12V transformer is enough to get 12VDC perfectly regulated with a LCBPS ?

12VDC is just fine. And 12VAC secondaries should provide enough drop provided they are large enough VA rated.

In fact I intend to use one LCBPS for both a counterpoint stereo and an IVY1.0. Also I would prefer to use fixed resistors if possible instead of the VR1 and VR2 potentiometer for ease of setup. With your (240R) R5 and R6 that would mean 10,63 V DC outputs from LCBPS. I think of getting 1800R metal film like http://uk.rs-online.com/...148-562&x=19&y=7 . Are 1% tolerance and 0,25W enough ? Are the potentiometers much better than fixed resistors (if so why) ? Is 10.63 V DC still perfectly fine for both counterpoint and IVY ? Or I can also change R5 and R6 to 220R to get 11,48 V dc output ? Thanks in advance
