So, things are beginning to settle down a bit, I am shipping kits again.

After some consultation with Wolfson, Russ is making a few minor tweaks to the Opus boards before ordering. We hope to have kits available shortly.

Work is progressing on a master controller as well, which will utilize a display, rotary encoder inputs, and be able to control (initially) the Joshua Tree and Darwin relay boards. The architecture we are planning (I2C-based) is very flexible, and should allow us to add on other features and accessories very easily, such as push button controls or digital control of the DAC. More details on this as the design firms up.

Another thing we are looking into is a discrete power amp section (rather then chip-based) to be used with the TXD driver module to allow more part choice flexibility and more power. Russ has worked up several designs; the two we currently favor are a bipolar design OnSemi ThermalTrak devices (NJL), and a quasi-complimentary N-channel MOSFET design. Again, more information as the design firms up.
