I just received some Trident Voltage Regulators - 3.3V, 1.2V, and a dual 3.5V regulator. I need the manual for these regulators. I believe these are version 3 of the regulators.

How would I be able to get a hold of the documentation?

They also came with pin headers to connect the power supply. I need to know the measurements (or spacing of the pins) for the headers so that I can purchase proper connectors from Mouser or DigiKey.

In addition, do the regulators allow connections from an AC source to convert to DC, or do they only accept DC Voltages?

Thanks everyone.

What is missing in the documentation? Headers, usage, etc. are al described in the guide.

There isn't a manual specifically for Tridents at the moment, but all your questions can be answered here or in Leon's Buffalo intagration guide (http://www.twistedpearaudio.com/docs/community_docs/leonvb-Buffalo_III_DAC_Integration_Guide_V2.1.3.pdf). Basic specs are on the Trident page.

The pin header is a standard 0.1" (2.54mm) 3-pin connection. All the connectors you should need are included, unless you are doing something strange with them.

The Tridents accept only DC input, up to 6.5VDC.

[EDIT: too slow on the draw. Leon beat me to it.]

Thanks much!!!!

Just to let you know, I plan to use these voltage regulators for a project on upgrading my Oppo BDP-95 Blu-Ray Player, which use the ESS ES9018 Sabre DACs. Each voltage regulator will be connected to its own linear power transformer (toroidal). So what you are saying is that I MUST convert the voltage from AC to DC BEFORE connecting it to any of the Trident Voltage Regulators.

Would this be correct?

Correct, you need a pre-regulator. You can likely reuse an existing regulator in the player, or add a new one.

The pre-regulators I have will not output a DC Voltage below 5 volts. Are there any pre-regulators that are recommended to be used with the Tridents?

I have two 3.3V, one 1.2V, and one dual 3.5V shunt regulator.

Thanks.
