Hi

building Placid 2.1, and one of the instructions says to put the two transistors in and have them thermo coupled… does this mean stick them together with glue? or heat paste? or just touching on the board?

Cheers!

Just close together is just fine. If you have some heat shrink tube of the right size you can slip it over the pair and shrink it. The circuit does not require that they be strongly coupled, just near each other.
