Dear Twisted Pear Audio Support,
I am using BIIISE and legato 3.1 fully assembled, connected in balaced to the integrated amplifier PRIMARE I30.

The problem is this:
When I connect the cd player (PRIMARE CD31) in balanced, the amplifier emit its full power, but when I connect legato 3.1, does not emit all its power, going with the volume control at the stroke end.
I am attaching the specifications of the amplifier and cd player, so as to be able tell me the correct gain (in my case) for the Legato.
if you can reccomend me the values of the resistances.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION I30
http://www.primare.net/a.../files/I30usermanual.pdf
Balanced inputs 560mV
Line inputs 280mV
Tape outputs 280mV

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CD31
http://www.cmy.com.my/ca...g/images/PrimareCD31.pdf
Output Analogue Unbalanced 2.0VRMS
Output Analogue Balanced 4.0VRMS
Output Impedance 100 OHm

Waiting for your kind reply,
Best Regards
Giuseppe

Reading the manual you'll see:

"
Other Applications
If you want to change the output voltage you need to adjust both the top - I/V (R1-R4) values and bottom -
CCS (R9-R16) values in proportion to each other. I have found that a ratio of 1/4.4 works very well for top
resistor values up to about 364Ω. I have not tried gain any higher than that. If you need to please contact

Try using 200R for R1-R4 and 887R for R9-R16.

This will increase overall gain, both balanced and single ended.

If your connecting single ended only, you can just increase the gain in the BAL-SE stage (OPAMP).
