PC board size and
Approximate overall height with installed components

How about a specific question:
The boards used in the jt attenuator stuffed dimensions

It's way to much work to use a program like Scion Image to find the size knowing the DIP pin spacing is 0.1".

Since I slept on if for a bit. It might make sense for you to specify something like:

3" W x 5" L x 2.1"* H

* C1 is the highest component and it's nominally 2.1" tall. It can vary by manufacturer.

or

* IC1 is the highest component, unsocketed
