Hi there,

For my BIII setup I'll use 8 channels. Since I don't need SE outputs nor the possibility of voltage inputs, I was thinking of constructing my own PCB for this based on the IVY schematics (it would save some space in the box, I hope this is ok - it's just for personal use).

So I wonder then, can I just omit the parts within the red markings in the attached picture? Or, are there any other modifications that should be made? The 750 ohm resistors are replaces by 3k as suggested for 8 ch use in the integration guide.

It is perfectly fine for personal use, but I would suggest you simply us the IVY-III and omit the BAL/SE stage per the manual. You will probably save money.

Cheers!

Thank you Russ!

Another question: will 2 Placid HD BP:s be suitable for powering all 8 channels (4 channels per Placid) with the supplied heatsinks?

Best regards
