Thanks: 1 times
Hello,

I want to create 6 channel DAC with 3 OPUS and 3 IVY III's. They will be fed from USB Streamer of exaU2I.
Do I need 1 Placid HD and 1 Placid HD-BP for each OPUS/IVY III combination?
Can either the Placid HD or Placid HD-BPs power more than one OPUS or IVY III?
How many transformers?

I read on the Buffalo III integration guide that one Placid HD-BP will work for 4 IVY IIIs in the multi channel power requirements section. It looks like each Buffalo 3 needs its own power supply, but I'm not sure if the OPUS is as power hungry. Please help?

Finally, if the answer is one power supply for each, is there another type of power supply that could be used instead to power all 3 OPUSs' and/or IVY IIIs?

Thanks again,
Doug
