I see the Ivy dual-mono wiring diagram shows the balanced output
ground connection landing at the ground connection between
R_IN2_+ and R_IN2_- connections. (for both channels)

Is it critical where you tie this output ground to on Legato? Maybe it
was done this way for the IVY board because it was a closer point?

Not sure exactly what you are asking. You would just wire one of the GNDs and both the SE outs. Which one of the GND won't matter as they are joined.

Thanks, Russ. I went by the .pdf drawing 'dualmono_BIIandIVYIII.pdf'.
I landed the ground wire for the balanced outs on the bottom of
Legato on center ground post for the riser for the Buffalo between
R_IN2_+ and R_IN2_- . I was afraid to deviate from the drawing without
knowing for sure.
