I tried to connect it to a small dac to it (5v) and instead of 0,06V across R3 i adjusted 0,6 V and something happened. I heard only distorted sound, so i disconnected it and checked everything, but it was to late. Interesting is, that i can adjust the output voltage to 5V and current across R3 to 0,06V, but i hear only distorted sound. The dac is drawing 350mA. I connected another ps to the dac and it is working properly.

Which part of Placid could be most probably destroyed ?

2020-02-15T17:11:11-07:002020-02-15T17:11:11-07:00tomeczek

Hi,

i have one old Placid 1.0 left from one project.
