So, we will soon have access to a CNC mill for making parts. We are considering making some rear, and possible front, case panels to go with our kits.

It would obviously be easier to have some sort of standard offering, so we are looking at using some standard cases, and supplying panels that can easily mount on them. They could also be used with custom case work built around the panels. We are currently thinking of making them to fit Par-Metal cases (3 and 4" tall, 12 and 16" wide).

This is a parmetal 3"x16" case with the type of rear panel we are talking about:

So, end users would be responsible for buying the case from parmetal, and a panel from us.

Are we fixed on ParMetal? No.
Could we also make complete cases? Yes.
Could we also do custom work? Yes. But takes more time and would be more expensive.

Why am I telling you this? We are trying to gauge interest, and field some ideas on how it could work. Please, let us know what you think.

If that option was available at the time I ordered my kit, I would have bought at least the pannels. I am lazy and lack some tools Shhh
Cheers!

Dmitry.
